Strength training is critical in weight management because of the increased muscle mass and subsequent increased metabolism. Regular strength training not only improves performance in many areas of life but improves the quality of life for most people. If you really want to see a change in your body, strength training is the key factor. This type of exercise shapes you, you will look tight and toned! The more muscle volume, the more fat your body will burn when resting: this is one of the secrets to weight control.
Muscle does weigh more than fat but it also takes up to
3 times less space than fat.
One- on- one training : You will be with Lisa to perform strength training exercises while learning proper form and technique. This may include free weights or machines. $40 / hour
Appointments for one on one training varies. Whatever time and day you need, if Lisa has that time/day available she will do for you. Appointments can be done at the private studio, your place of business or home.
All one on one appointments include nutrition and keeping a journal to log food and cardiovascular exercise,
Classes: Each class is one hour long; it is a full-body workout using free weights, body weight, resistance bands and stability balls. Each day there is different music and exercises to keep it new and exciting. Because we use no machines and benches, we focus on strengthening our core. The trainer will make sure your form and technique are done correctly to get the maximum benefits.
There are no more than 6 to a class. $15 a class
Classes available : Women only (Monday thru Saturday) All classes are by appointment!
Bring a friend, join a class below or make your own with 3-6 people. Pick a day and time.

Nutrition is the relationship of foods to the health of the human body. Good nutrition is essential for normal organ development and functioning, for normal production, for growth, for normal maintenance, for optimum activity level and working efficiency, for resistance to infection and disease, and for the ability to repair bodily damage or injury.
Nutrition: In order to see weight loss and feel good while exercising, you must consume healthy foods full of nutrients to build and repair muscles. You will learn the different nutrients that are present in foods and learn how to combine different foods for maximum results in health and weight loss. $40 / hour
If you do not wish to participate in classes or strength training, you can do a
"nutrition only appointment".
Come in one time for nutrition advice to use along wtih your own exercise regimen.
Core Strength Training Classes available
with Certified Personal Trainer Lisa Myslewski
All classes are by appointment. You must be pre-registered for classes or call/ text to see if you can fit in.
There is a maximum of 6 women to a class. Classes are held in a private studio.
You must commit to a regular day and time. Same schedule each week.
It is required to do a minimum of two days a week. Or…if you are absolutely not able to commit to two days a week, you may do one day a week and be on stand by weekly, and jump in a class that does not have the full maximum of 6.
A 4-week prepayment, commitment is due at the time of sign up. If you so choose to continue, you may do so or be finished. There are no sign up fees, no year long locked in membership. It is a month to month commitment.
If you want to lose weight, strengthen your core and shape that body, you must eat clean, lift weights (strength train)(2-3 days a week) and you must stay committed and dedicated each day. It is a lifestyle…. not a quick fix . Focus on what you want to achieve. How are you going to get there? I will help you with the strength training and nutrition, you are responsible the positive attitude!
How are you going to measure progress?
Measurements: 8 different areas
Body Fat Percentage: (The amount of body fat mass as part of the total body weight) will be measured two ways: with calipers and w/ bioelectrical impedance method . The calipers: This device measures by hand the thickness of skinfolds at standardized sites.
The bioelectric impedance method : Our muscles, blood vessels and bones have a high water content that conduct electricity easily. Body fat does not hold water, therefore it has low electrical conductivity. The fat loss monitor sends an extremely low level electric current through your body to determine the amount of fat tissue.
Weight: Weigh in on the scale
Progress plans are available to all clients
. If you exercise in the studio or at home on your own, you may purchase a plan to measure your progress and keep you accountable and on track.
